JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng residents will be hoping the new provincial government will hit the ground running.

Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi announced his provincial cabinet, excluding the DA.

It's unclear what this means going forward as the two parties are in agreement in the Government of National Unity.
