CAPE TOWN - The case against farmer Christoffel Stoman has been postponed until January.
It will be moved to the regional court in Vrendendal.
Stoman faces two counts of attempted murder after running over and breaking the legs of six-year-old Khwezi Jantjies.
The farmer accused Khwezi of stealing an orange from his land.
Stoman has apologised in an affidavit read in court, but activists believe he should remain in jail for the rest of the proceedings.
