JOHANNESBURG - The Judicial Service Commission has begun interviews to fill posts in South Africa's courts.
It is interviewing 54 candidates for 21 vacancies.

They include judge president of the Western Cape High Court.
The post was filled by John Hlophe until he became the first judge to be impeached in democratic South Africa.
Last week, the MK Party filed an urgent application to interdict the JSC interviews.
The party, which is led by Hlophe in Parliament, failed in this bid.
