WATCH | Glenda Gray steps down as SAMRC president

PRETORIA -  After ten years at the helm of the South African Medical Research Council, Professor Glenda Gray is stepping down. 

She has served as the chairperson of the research committee on Covid-19. 

Her role was to help provide evidence on how the Health Minister and national government should deal with the pandemic.

Gray is also an A-rated researcher and is renowned for her work in vaccines to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV. 

She discussed her tenure and what's next for her with eNCA's Dan Moyane.
