JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng government has partnered with the Department of Employment and Labour in the province to introduce another leg of the Nasi Ispani labour activation programme.
The government says the programme will result in almost half a million young people being trained in specialised skills before being placed in the workplace.
The second phase of the programme has secured R8.4bn for its implementation.
Nasi Ispani was introduced by Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi to address youth unemployment in the province.
