KHAYELITSHA, CP - Tensions ran high in certain parts of Khayelitsha, after a video of school children being treated for tummy cramps circulated.
Pictures on social media platforms showed bags of food, including noodles and sweets being dumped at a site in Town Two.

Residents say foreign nationals were the ones seen dumping the expired goods.
Police confirmed that the items were booked in at the Makhaza Police Station.
But the social media scare of school children being treated by paramedics, was a video of another incident that took place in Mossel Bay.
