JOHANNESBURG - While parliament is debating a proposal by Eskom that could see electricity tariffs rise by 40% in 2025, the National Association of Social Housing is urging government to consider alternatives for the social housing sector.
Eskom has requested energy regulator Nersa to approve a further 36% increase in electricity tariffs in 2025.
