CAPE TOWN - With just over two months before the crucial general elections, political parties and independent candidates are intensifying their campaigns to woo voters.

Activist Zackie Achmat is one of them.

And those contesting the May polls have until 5pm on Friday, to submit their nomination requirements to the Independent Electoral Commission. .
