RICHARDS BAY - Road congestion in Richards Bay has reached uncontrollable levels. Trucks are clogging the route to the Richards Bay coal terminal.
An increased demand for coal has forced even more freight than usual onto the road.
The uMhlatuze municipality is now even considering legal action against port authorities.
Mayor Xolani Ngwezi says these trucks has also caused a number of accidents.
