WATCH | Cheaper and quicker route to resolve disputes in companies

JOHANNESBURG - The Companies Tribunal is celebrating it’s tenth birthday.

It’s an agency under the Department of Trade and Industry mandated to resolve disputes,
and make decisions on matters related to company law in South Africa.

The Tribunal offers mediation and arbitration services, reducing the need for parties to go to court. And it also ensures compliance with the Companies Act.

To discuss more on this the Deputy Chairperson of the Companies Tribunal, Minah-Tong Mongalo spoke to the eNCA.
