JOHANNESBURG - If you're thinking of performing baptisms in the sea or in rivers, please make arrangements with the relevant authorities first. That's the plea from Lifesaving SA President Dhaya Sewduth.
This after the most recent tragic baptism incident, where 3 people drowned in a Soweto river.
Earlier in December, 14 people suffered a similar fate in the Jukskei River.
Some believers also perform baptisms in the sea off Durban's beaches.
