WATCH | ANC not ruling out EFF mayoral candidate for Ekurhuleni

JOHANNESBURG - ANC NEC member Fikile Mbalula says the party is not ruling out an EFF mayoral candidate for the City of Ekurhuleni.

The ANC and the red berets are still locked in talks over who will take over the city's top position, after the ousting of DA Mayor, Tania Campbell, a few weeks ago.

A special sitting to elect a mayor was postponed earlier this week after parties couldn't reach an agreement.

Mbalula made the remarks at a rally commemorating the life of Oliver Tambo in Hammanskraal.
