UN's COP28 climate talks open in Dubai

DUBAI - The COP28 UN climate talks begin in Dubai on Thursday.

The annual United Nations meeting largely sees world leaders, civil society and the private sector converging under one roof with one aim: To combat global warming.

This year, carbon emissions and fossil fuels are expected to top the agenda.
