There is a concern of skilled police officers leaving the force

HARTBEESPOORT - Ten thousand new officers have formally joined the police service after completing their training in the Project 10K programme.

This is the police ministry’s attempt to counter the sharp annual increase in crime over the festive season.

Forensic investigator, Calvin Rafadi says the trend of skilled police officers leaving the force is worrying. Rafadi says government should do all they can to prevent this.
