The state of SA's healthcare system 30 years on
JOHANNESBURG - South Africa's healthcare sector has seen significant progress in the last 30 years but still battles issues around underfunding and a lack of access to care in remote areas.
As the government pushes for the controversial National Health Insurance Bill to be implemented, questions persist around the quality of the current system.
