South Africa gets its first renewable energy charging station

JOHANNESBURG - The building of South Africa’s first 100-percent renewable energy charging station is about to begin.

Groundbreaking ceremony was held at Wolmaransstad in the North West province on Monday.

Unlike other charging stations that have to connect to Eskom’s grid, the Zero Carbon Charging stations will be solar powered.
