SONA 2024 | 'Tintswalo doesn't reflect systemic challenges' - Youth Capital

CAPE TOWN - Youth Capital says President Cyril Ramaphosa's comparison between young people today and the story of Tintswalo is a figment of his imagination.  

The reference has drawn criticism from opposition parties who argue it minimises the challenges facing young people.

On the back of historic levels of youth unemployment - sitting at 9-point-one million - they lack access to education and employment in the face of ever-worsening power cuts.
