SAUS wants university construction programme sped up 1
JOHANNESBURG - The South African Union of Students is calling on government to speed up the building of the two universities.
It says these will greatly improve the supply-demand crisis of access to higher education.
It's also worried NSFAS hasn't kept its word to pay outstanding allowances from 2023 by 15 January.
But NSFAS says universities are to blame for failing to submit all required data.
The union is calling on the higher education department to intervene.
SAUS spokesperson, Asive Dlanjwa spoke with eNCA.
