SA's porous borders | Organised crime and illicit trade costs SA billions

JOHANNESBURG - Organised crime at South Africa's borders and ports of entry is costing the country billions.

This is placing constant pressure on Customs Enforcement’s capacity and capabilities.

These issues were discussed at the World Customs Organization’s Policy Commission meeting in Cape Town. 

To shed more light on this, we are joined by SARS Commissioner Edward Kieswetter.
