SA's economic trouble | Role of venture capital and private equity firms

JOHANNESBURG - It's almost 2030, and the goals of the National Development Plan or Vision 2030 is far from being achieved.

But, the Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association is not losing hope so easily.

It says it can still be done with greater public-private partnerships.

SAVCA says this will boost economic growth and reduce poverty and inequality.

It commissioned research to analyse the role of Private Equity and Venture Capital firms in achieving policy objectives.
