SA's corruption emergency | Cholota linked to Free State asbestos graft

BLOEMFONTEIN - Moroadi Cholota is back home after her successful extradition from the US.

She is expected to be charged with fraud, corruption and money laundering when she appears before the Bloemfontein magistrate's court.

The alleged crimes relate to a R255-million asbestos contract that was awarded to Blackhead Consulting by Free State Human Settlements.

At the time, Cholota was working as a personal assistant to then-premier, Ace Magashule.

eNCA's Siphamandla Goge has more on this.
