SAA-Takatso deal | Parliament committee calls for SIU probe

JOHANNESBURG - Parliament's Public Enterprises Committee chair is calling for an SIU investigation into the SAA-Takatso deal.

He says allegations of wrongdoing by former DG Kgathatso Tlhakudi must be probed.

You will remember the deal was scrapped after three years of talks.

It followed controversial requests for non-disclosure agreements and in-camera meetings by Minister Pravin Gordhan.

The department is now accusing Khaya Magaxa of using the process to create turbulence ahead of the May 29 polls.
