Restore The Power Grid | Cape Town makes case at NERSA

CAPE TOWN - The resistance is already fierce at public hearings into a proposed power price hike by the National Energy Regulator of South Africa or NERSA.

Eskom has applied to NERSA to increase tariffs by more than 40% cumulatively over the next three years.

If Eskom is granted it’s application for the first financial year the hike will be more than 36% and it will come into effect in April next year.
