Political Party Funding Act | My Vote Counts wants funding thresholds reinstated

JOHANNESBURG - Judgment has been reserved in My Vote Counts challenge of the Electoral Matters Amendment Act.

The group wants thresholds for party funding that have been removed to be reinstated.

It wants the court to reinstate the R100,000 disclosure threshold.

The group says the absence of these limits in the Act has created a gap in the legislation.
