JOHANNESBURG - The controversial National Health Insurance Bill is being signed by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Wednesday afternoon.

And it's likely to face immediate legal action from opposition parties and players in the private health sector.

The bill is aimed at transforming the country's health care system, to achieve universal coverage.

But there has been much push-back with many calling for it to be referred back to Parliament.
