Nozipho Phiri to record debut solo album

JOHANNESBURG - Nozipho Phiri, from the award-winning gospel group Joyous Celebration, is launching her solo career.

She's recording a live album at the Goshen City Church in Johannesburg on the 29th of June.

Her musical journey took off in 2010, landing in the top 10 on the show 'I Want To Sing Gospel'.

Her album mixes traditional gospel with contemporary sounds.
