National Health Insurance | Bill continues to face fierce opposition

JOHANNESBURG - The National Health Insurance Bill continues to face fierce opposition.

The contentious bill was adopted by the National Council of Provinces on Wednesday but the SA Health Professionals Collaboration is urging the President to send it back to Parliament.

The organisation insists the bill lacks clarity on key issues, saying it will make the provision of care very difficult.

They also say it could cause an exodus of doctors.
