JOHANNESBURG - The deadline for public comment on the Basic Education Laws Amendment Bill is fast approaching.
The bill seeks to make Grade R the new compulsory school-starting age, among other issues.
It was adopted by the Portfolio Committee on Basic Education last year.
Parents, teacher and citizens must make their submissions before the 19th of this month.
We spoke to a Maths and Science teacher at Hyde Park High School, Siyabulela Mokebe, for a reaction.
