Meyiwa trial-within-a-trial to focus on standing of lawyer

PRETORIA - The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial-within-a-trial continues on Tuesday morning.

It's now focused on the standing of a lawyer present at the time one of the accused made a confession.

Bongani Ntanzi says he did not know or instruct Ntokozo Mjiyako.

This would essentially render his confession null and void.

But, the state is trying to prove the two accused made their confessions freely and voluntarily.
