Koeberg Unit 1 undergoes final trial to test viability

JOHANNESBURG - A crucial test is being performed at the Koeberg power plant on Saturday.

The Power Station will be performing a full load rejection test on the Unit.

This is the final test that needs to be performed following the installation of the new steam generators.

Unit 2 is set to be taken offline once Unit 1 is considered stable.
