PRETORIA - Three former apartheid police officers have pleaded not guilty to the murder of student activist, Caiphus Nyoka.
The trio appeared in the Benoni Magistrate's Court this morning, and will be back in the dock tomorrow.
The first witness, the deceased's sister, took the stand detailing the bloody scene.

Nyoka, a member of the Congress of South African Students, was shot and killed in August 1987 at his home in Daveyton in the East Rand.
Fourth suspect, Johan Marais, pleaded guilty last week.
