Justice for Meyiwa | Closing arguments in trial-within-a-trial

PRETORIA - Closing arguments have begun in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial-within-a-trial, with the state presenting its heads of arguments.

The defence closed its case after calling yet another witness.

Warrant Officer Meshack Makhubo, who is one of the investigators in the soccer star's murder, detailed how contradictory police opinions tore investigators apart.

And at some point, there were 40 police officers deployed to investigate the case.

Makhubu was called to testify by accused 1 after an application to re-open his case was given the green light earlier.
