Joy of Jazz celebrates 25th anniversary

JOHANNESBURG - The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz festival is taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre, celebrating its 25th anniversary on Friday.

The lineup features Cuban artist Chucho Valdés, a seven-time Grammy winner; English trumpeter Matthew Halsall; another Grammy winner trumpeter Chris Botti, Mzansi’s finest Feya Faku, US-based pianist Kenny Banks Junior, Japanese keyboardist Keiko Matsui and South African opera singer Sibongile Mngoma.
