JOHANNESBURG - The Johannesburg Metro Police Department says newly-appointed pointspeople had to go through a work induction which delayed their deployment.
This follows claims by the city's MMC for Public Safety, Mgcini Tshwaku that some personnel and vehicles are unaccounted for.
JMPD has assured the city's residents the new recruits will be fully deployed by the end of the week. eNCA reporter Theodor Mashele has the details.
