Joburg Ganglands | Police deny 13 killed in turf wars in one week

JOHANNESBURG - There are concerns social media posts may spur gang-violence in Westbury, Eldorado Park, and Riverlea.

Users posted that 13 people had been killed in gangland warfare this week.

But, police are denying the claims, saying only 3 murders were reported.

They have nonetheless deployed more officers to the area, as the communities are in fear of attacks.
