JOHANNESBURG - Young unemployed graduates are often forced to beg and plead for employment, even going as far as holding up signs at busy intersections asking for jobs.
This was the case for Momelezi Sifumba who went viral on social media last year for doing exactly that. The electrical engineering graduate was fortunate enough to be offered a position at the technology firm ABB.
He's now been appointed as an associate project engineer. In a country with a 60-percent youth unemployment, many graduates are unable to find employment.
Sifumba had a conversation with the eNCA on how his life changed since being offered employment.
