CAPE TOWN - Human Settlements Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi says her department is implementing several interventions to redress the unaffordability of houses for middle-income families.

Announcing government plans and developments in the human settlements sector at a media briefing held in Pretoria on Monday, Kubayi said the department has recognised the gap in the affordable housing market for families earning between R350,000 and R600,000 a year.
