Gold One officials concerned about miners well-being

JOHANNESBURG - Meanwhile Gold One mine officials say they are concerned about the well-being of the mineworkers who remain underground at its Springs mine.

Over 400-miners have staged a sit-in since Thursday night.

They are angry about recent dismissals and the refusal to recognise the Amcu Trade Union.

Head of legal at Gold One, Ziyaad Hassam says engagements with involved parties are continuing.
