JOHANNESBURG - There has been much discussion on the need to go green to curb global warming.
But, in 2023, the world used a record amount of fossil fuels.
This is according to the latest Statistical Review of World Energy.
But, the issue is far more complex with 1 in 10 people in the developing world living without electricity.
This translates to 600-million people in sub-Saharan Africa without power.
