Getting municipalities ready to go green

JOHANNESBURG - Mayors, municipal managers and energy officials from across South Africa will spend the next two days in Midrand, grappling with what they need to do to ensure municipalities are ready to effectively implement the just energy transition.

President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the Municipal Just Energy Transition Conference.

The conference will also explore scenarios for municipalities of differing sizes and capabilities.
