GBV epidemic | Support for victims, family and friends

JOHANNESBURG - Third-quarter crime stats show a 1.7 percent decrease in the number of sexual crimes.

But, that's cold comfort for the over 12,000 rape victims in the last three months of 2023.

What's also worrying is that the stats show the majority are raped by family or friends.
