In response to this, non-profit organisation, 'hashtag funk it I'm walking' (#FunkitimWalking) will be hosting a Soweto Night Out at the Before You Kill Us night walking tour.

This event aims to humanise the victims of GBV through artworks and audio experiences.

The founder of Funk It Im Walking, Nomsa Mazwai says they want to make public spaces safer to walk in at night.
