JOHANNESBURG - 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence begins on 25 November.
But, ahead of that social activists will be literally fighting the scourge.
They will do this by uniting over a thousand martial artists to shatter boards and a world record.
Funds raised will be used to provide self-defence training to 10,000 women.
The event is spearheaded by Mark Grobbelaar, founder of INpowered.
