CAPE TOWN - Corné Mulder has been elected president of the Freedom Front Plus.
He takes over from Pieter Groenewald, who will continue in his capacity as Minister of Correctional Services.
Mulder says he will be taking the party in a new direction, and will not be strung along by the ANC or the DA.
