Electoral Amendment Act | Challenge to 200/200 seat split in NA dismissed

JOHANNESBURG - The Constitutional Court on Monday ruled on the Electoral Amendment Act.

It found the allocation of seats in Parliament is fair.

But, it has lowered requirements for entry by reducing the number of signatures required to register.

Independent candidate Zackie Achmat last week expressed concerns over delays to judgment.
