Education in SA | Promoting literacy and multilingual education

JOHANNESBURG - Basic Education is partnering with key organisations to promote literacy and multilingual education.

This collaboration aims to advance reading development in African languages and culturally relevant practices under UNESCO’s International Literacy Day.

The theme this year is Promoting Multilingual Education: Literacy for Mutual Understanding and Peace.
