Education in crisis | Pupils learn outside in freezing conditions

JOHANNESBURG - It's freezing in Gauteng and some Soweto pupils have been forced to have class outside.

Government has not provided enough mobile classrooms to the Thubelihle Secondary School.

Construction of permanent classrooms was meant to have begun way back in 2018.

A revised completion date of August has been set, but that is cold comfort as no construction work has begun.
