Education in crisis | Eastern Cape scholar transport nightmare

EAST LONDON - It's already a month since the academic year began and Eastern Cape pupils still don't have scholar transport.

Over 4,000 have been excluded from government’s school transport programme due to a lack of funds.

They have to walk long distances, crossing rivers and busy highways to get to school.
