DRC conflict | Tshisekedi vows 'vigorous' response to Goma invasion

JOHANNESBURG - DRC President Felix Tshisekedi is promising a vigorous response to the advance of M23 rebels on Goma.

It comes as the rebels say they plan to march to Kinshasa to topple Tshisekedi.

The DRC President is urging young people to join the army to help repel the rebels.

South Africa's chief diplomat, Ronald Lamola says his counterpart in Kigali agrees dialogue is the solution.

But, Tshisekedi did not pitch for an emergency East African leaders summit on the conflict.

We discuss this with Patrick Muyaya, spokesperson for the DRC government.
