JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is ranked 10th in the world for suicide related deaths and it is the third leading cause of death among adolescents worldwide.

10 September marks Suicide Prevention Day under the theme 'Creating Hope Through Action'. 

The South African Depression and Anxiety Group are at the forefront of patient advocacy, education, and destigmatisation of mental illness in the country.
